Multi billionaires and millionaires make multiples of millions and that money makes more millions.  Billionaires want to make another billion then another billion, they never quit, as a billion dollars is never enough.

The world itself is not enough for most of these guys, their eyes are affixed on the stars.  Mr. Warren Buffett for example made over $60 billion during his working life, he made this money by undercutting competitors, working hard, getting in there first and bureaucratically fighting tooth and nail for every buck.

NOTE:

Disclaimer: Mr Buffett is a great philanthropist and gives most of his money away.  This webpage does not find fault with Mr Buffett, it just ridicules the whole concept of his making billions of dollars in the first place, if only to give it away afterwards.  One tends to think he was making money as a hobby.

He used great decisiveness, shrewd business planning and all of his knowledge of conglomerate infrastructure, stocks and shares, shareholders, buyers and sellers to keep that money rolling in.  This most likely included employing as many staff as possible on minimum wage structures to save those important dollars.

Warren Buffett 1930 - Present

Indeed he made billions by shrewdness and innovation with good business acumen, he had his finger on the pulse of trade and commerce and capitalized on it.  The thousands became hundreds of thousands that became millions that became billions.  The interest on these billions maintained a steady flow of even more cash straight back into that jolly old bank account.

Whenever Mr Buffet bought something like a rare vintage Bentley, a new Patek Philippe watch, a Condo in Miami or maybe some platinum jewellery then these assets also generate worth as time goes by...

...money always makes more money, the more you've got, the more you will have and the more you will make.  Have you noticed that rich people are given things, whilst poor people have it taken off them...its a true and cruel twist of fate.

It wasn't until Warren Buffett's dear wife passed away in 2004 (R.I.P) that he realised that he could not take his billions with him when his own time was up.  So, after a wee bit of contemplation he decided to give $30 billion 700 million away to a worthwhile cause...the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.

NOTE:

Bill Gates is one of the worlds richest men, he is currently worth $56 billion and his company Microsoft  is one of the worlds most affluent companies worth over $200 billion...so why does he still charge $200 for the Windows  operating system? and then to put blockers on it so that it can only be installed a couple of times?

Bill Gates 1955 - Present

Gates could give Windows  away for free, after all he gave $28 Million away to charity, some finding its way to Africa where it was allegedly misused and embezzled.  When an African leader (name withheld for libel reasons) was given aid for his country he immediately bought an outer suburb mansion, a BMW 750SEi, a Mercedes 560SEL, several crates of Glenfiddich single malt whisky, several Armani suits, several Rolex watches, Visace  jewellery  and a whole load of other expensive items.

I was actually told that a container holding a huge consignment of expensive merchandise left the UK for Africa and when it arrived it went straight to his personal address...I don't think he gave a Tutu hoot for his country to be honest...just as long as he himself was alright Jack and living in the lap of luxury.

This $30.7 billion donation was a very noble move by Mr Buffett and it is the biggest donation to charity that has ever been recorded and will never be seen again.  Bravo Mr Buffet, please accept a laurel, and a hardy handshake from everyone who benefits from this super generous gift.

NOTE:

This website also relies on charity, as the bandwidth cost of putting up this heavily illustrated site to freely educate the world costs me quite a bit. However apart from a 100 bucks in total donated over the past 12 months, nobody donates anything...Mr Billionaire are you reading this...I want to expand this reference website into the world biggest and best full media reference site to educate the world for free but no one really gives a damn...H E L P ! donate here ...its alright, I won't be holding my breath!

In hindsight, I started to wonder what all the work Mr Buffett had done over the past 50 years had been for?  All the business, the minimum wages paid to staff to save money, all the business meetings and deals, all the sleepless nights, all the paperwork, all the mental effort just to end up giving it away...it seems a whole heartily pointless exercise to me.

Would it have been better if he had paid his staff say three times the average wage, so they could all enjoy a better standard of living.  Or if he had made his business consumables and commodities cheaper and helped other enterprises by offering lower cost packages.  No, instead the undercutting, hiring and firing, the low to average pay and the cutbacks went on...the yummy millions kept rolling in.

Mr Buffett's beautiful billions made more billions and he endeavoured to make even more but what on earth did he intend spending all this money on? or did he just make money for the sake of it?

Maybe so that he could sit on top of a huge mountain of dollars, look around and say: "Hey guys...guys...haha...I'm super duper megga rich! " If so then this is one of the worst crimes that a man can commit.

Money is the root of all evil things but it is also the root of many good things as well.  Money is not a commodity to be saved and bought, money is a medium of exchange for goods and to help people live a decent life.  Sadly big business magnates do not see it like this, they just want money for the sake of it.

If I had $30 billion, I would have several new hospitals built, I would have several education centers built, I would offer 100% free internet with 100% fee ISP.  I would endeavour to help the homeless and the vulnerable.  I would help to make a difference, I would be determined to make a change in this world for as many people as possible.  Its a pity that the money huggers don't reason like this isn't it!

EMPIRES OF IVORY

Most multi millionaires decide to make a difference in another way...by closing down their factories, consequently putting hundreds of staff straight onto welfare.  All so that they could have their products made cheaper in China to increase their wealth.  £100 million obviously not enough money to live on, so firing their staff to save on wages is the best option. A hypothetical scenario is presented below...however it may not be so hypothetical...

We could imagine our multi millionaire saying "  Yeah ok, so I got £400 million! now I want £800 million " then later... "Now I've got £800 million! I want a cool £1 billion " then later... "Yeah okay, now I've got £1 billion! I want £10 billion " then later "Now I've got £10 billion! I want a £100 billion " then later..."Look I've got £100 billion! but now I want a cool £1 trillion " then later " Yeah I got the £1 trillion! I want £100 trillion now though " then later... " What's with a poxy £100 trillion? I now want the world and I'm not going to stop until I've got it  "  what would be after this though? any ideas anyone?

Many normal people struggle to understand what these multi millionaires are going to spend all that money on, surely they only need say £20 million to secure their families future for eternity...well the rest of us are doing the same with just a few grand, so what's the problem?  Apparently many millionaires behave as if they are poor and do not help their families, saying that they should work for every buck like what they did! I wonder what is the point of making all that capital if their attitude is like that?

MENTAL RESTRICTIONS

I tend to think that millionaires suffer some sort of mental illness in that they magnify there mountains of cash so that its actually hard for them to even spend say 10 bucks.  The mountain of money becomes like a perfect wall and to spend anything is taking a brick out of the wall, the wall loses perfection in their minds eye.  This is a far as I can manage to apply any psychology into the matter as millionaires and billionaires do not like spending any money.

They should realise that they cannot take the money with them when they pass on.  They should also realise that they had really been given opportunities to make money in life to be able to help others with it..  They should not treat poor people with contempt, and not look down their noses on those who have meagre lifestyles with their inimitable mediocrity.

They should not  make billions for the sake of it, the billions should be put to good use to help others.  This is how money should bring them delight, to benefit them and benefit others.  Billionaires and super conglomerate companies with their billions never see it this way though and wrongly believe that they have the God given right to accumulate as much money as possible for themselves and themselves alone.

HYPOTHESISING AGAIN

Let us now just imagine that a super conglomerate company has amassed all the money in the world, say  ninety-nine hundred thousand trillion dollars.  What would that company then do? would they operate for free thereafter?  I would imagine that they would still work out a way for people to pay them for their services.  This is the sickness that we have around us today, total greed and absolute contempt for those with nothing.

If we were to say to those super conglomerate company bosses what they intended now to do with the ninety-nine hundred thousand trillion dollars they would in all probability return a blank incomprehensible stare...and expostulate that there was still more to be made somewhere.

Everybody wants to rule the world and everyone believes that with enough money its possible.  As stated earlier, money itself is just a pile of printed paper or a ton of yellow metal that in itself is worthless and useless except maybe for stoking up a fire or smelting into tools.

WHAT SPENDING POWER?

It is the spending power that money itself offers its fortunate owner, not the ownership of money itself but rarely is it seen like this.  What is the base consideration on this planet? the answer is life itself.  The ability to improve life therefore has to be of paramount priority and importance and there are a lot of improvements that need to be done the world over.

A rock star or a movie star with five hundred million dollars in their bank account just sitting there is relatively worthless unless it is put to good use.  Imagination is then called for on behalf of the owner of such wealth to what use that money could indeed be put to.  Blindly giving it away to charity is not really using any imagination and other avenues need to be explored.

The answer to the question of " Why should I spend my money on others when its all mine that I have made " should be received with a sentence that sounds something like:  " Its because you have been chosen to make that money with God given talents so that you can help others who don't have the talents...don't worry, you will still have the fabulous lifestyle that you deserve through your talents "

We should always look on the bright side and never give up hope that one day true amounts of money will be spent where it is most needed...on the people, on their needs, their lives and their futures.  This would help to make a better world, but first we need to explain to the governments that war is not needed, there is enough money and enough control to go around...but somehow I have the sneaky suspicion that they are somehow decidedly not interested in this concept.

Bill Gates however is trying to help the less fortunate with his foundation. He is spending vast fortunes and also plans to eventually donate 95% of his wealth to charity before he dies...that's about $50 billion.  This is philanthropy at its very best and he should be congratulated for this fantastic proposal.

The wonderful Mr Steve Jobs who so sadly died recently, R.I.P, was also worth several billion dollars, I am not sure what if any beneficiaries there are but I hope that the money is managed wisely.

Steve Jobs 1955 - 2011

Steve Jobs was actually never in it for the money, he often stated that he just loved doing so many things with technology and that he loved making a difference in the world.  That you did indeed Steve, that you did indeed.

I would suggest that any philanthropic billionaires first improve their own country first by taking the beam out of its eye before taking the splinter out of another's.  They should do what the government should be doing if the government actually gave a damn about governing their people instead of take, take, take, subjugate, smear and strike to create poverty, prisons, pollution, pain, punishment and a penniless population with war, ambition, greed and secrecy.

THE WORST OF THE WORST

Some of the worst monsters of millions and beasts of billions this world has ever seen are listed below, these guys were so fantastically greedy that they let hundreds of thousands if not millions starve and die so that they could keep all of the money to themselves.  They are an absolute disgrace to humanity, may their names forever rest with shame.

THE DEPLORABLE DESPOTS

SADDAM HUSSEIN:

Saddam Hussein spend millions on himself and his family whilst his countrymen lived in poverty...nearly all of the money he made from oil revenues went into his back pocket.

These lords of massive egotism always have equally massive statues or busts constructed of themselves, to bolster their ego and to proclaim " I'm here, I rule, and don't you forget it  " Saddam was no exception, he had several of these monstrosities built all over Iraq, one such monstrosity is seen below.  I believe that the US marines later used these things for Abram's tank, firing target practise.

SAPARMURAT NIYAZOV:

Saparmurat Niyazov the President of Turkmenistan from 1990 until his death in 2006 of a heart attack, even changed the month of January to his own name and had a $12 million gold statue of himself built....his ego knew no bounds, he was flying high with the good life on a 24/7 basis.  Money no object! especially when it wasn't exactly his, when we say " hey big spender! " this could have been directed at this guy.

Saparmurat Niyazov 1940 - 2006

He spent more on stupid projects like an ice palace and a huge man made lake than he did on social welfare. He had mansions and palaces coming out of his ears, he hoarded gold, silver and valuables galore.  His multiple bank accounts were bulging with money that he had avariciously embezzled from his country.  This deluded despot thought he was a god but in reality he was a just a greedy clown.

NICOLAI CEAUSESCU:

Nicolai Ceausescu was President of Romania until he was killed by firing squad in 1999.  He was one of the worlds most greediest and selfish persons, he left his people to live in abject poverty whilst he bought items such as 15 luxurious multi million dollar palaces for himself.

Just as long as he was alright, he didn't give a stuff about anyone else, the ultimate greed and selfishness this man was all about is truly remarkable.  Is human nature really that bad? or does this sort of corruption just reside in Muppets like this?

Nicolia Ceausescu 1918 - 1989

Apart from fine art, yachts and gold, he also bought hundreds of Roll-Royce's, Ferrari's, Porsche's and other exotic cars.  This guy believed that he had the god given right to keep all the countries wealth for himself and to spend it on every luxurious item that you could imagine.

JEAN-BEDEL BOKASSA:

In 1977 Jean-Bedel Bokassa former President of the Central African republic spent over $10 million on his wedding and had a huge 2 ton, bronze and gold plated godlike throne built for the occasion...this egoistical monument of appalling bad taste is seen below.

Ultimate selfishness was this mans true virtue and he didn't mind showing it off and spreading it around...himself.  He commissioned a diamond encrusted crown and hundreds of exclusive gold jewellery items to be made, all whilst his people starved in their mud huts.  He didn't give a damn about them though, as no expense was spared on himself, he believed himself to be a god....yuk! what a horrible god!

As stated, he did this whilst everyone in his country starved and lived in depraved, abject poverty.  We can see that he was indeed a god though, a god  of self importance and of self esteem.  He was a god of greed, apathy and of total selfishness...whose crown was really resembling that of a toilet seat.

MOHAMMAD REZA PAHLAVI:

Mohammad Reza Pahlavi was the Shah of Persia from 1941 until he was ousted in 1979 during the Iranian revolution.  He loved military uniforms and lavishly bedecked them out with every decoration you could think of, as if he was a brave warrior of many battles.  The only battles he fought though, were the ones with the balancing of his many bank accounts.

Mohammad Reza Pahlavi 1919 - 1980

The Shah was definitely no stranger to opulence or extravagance as he bought hundreds of sports cars including Ferrari's, Lamborghinis,  Maserati's and Porsches along with an entire fleet of Bentleys and Rolls-Royces...only the very best for the Shah.  Did he have many cars?  well he actually had that many luxurious cars that they now constitute the Iranian National Automobile Museum, that went public in 2001.  The Shah most certainly didn't do things by halves!

FERDINAND MARCOS:

Ferdinand Marcos was the president of the Philippines from 1965 until 1986 and during that time he embezzled an estimated $10 billion for his own personal use.  His wife, Imelda spent her life with the president as the worlds best shopper in that she spent tens of thousands of dollars every day of her life on expensive items such as designer purses, shoes, dresses, and jewellery.

Imelda's wardrobe was actually discovered to contain over 3,000 pairs of designer shoes and 1,000s of expensive, top quality, designer dresses that could have filled up and entire department store.

Imelda was no stranger in paradise, it was stated that a guest once rather audibly broke wind (flatulence) in one of her state rooms, so she had it all redecorated afterwards!

Below is a vastly immodest, totally tasteless, 80 foot tall bust of Ferdinand Marcos, illustrating his super inflated, know no boundaries ego.  Proving that this twit thought himself in comparison to a God, his self esteem must have exploded like a fireworks display.

The bust was eventually vandalised by local tribesman in 1986 when they painted a bloody nose on it.  These money and power crazed idiots like Marcos always have massive, monstrosity statues of themselves built, this illustrates that they also indeed have equally massive ego issues.

These despots usually end up murdering many of their own countries citizens for refusing to bow or worship them as their super inflated egos get offended.

Below is shown the bust as stands today...with many welcome improvements! it has been attacked by unhappy Indonesians, wielding sledgehammers, who were definitely not loyal Marcos supporters!  It is still being attacked even today and is estimated that within a few years there will just be a hole in the mountainside where it once stood...one hopes!

Ferdinand Marcos died in exile in Hawaii in 1989, whilst the flatulence hating Imelda tried to get back into politics...but I think that her country might be just a teeny-weeny bit wary of her true values and  intentions!

And finally, what you have all been waiting for...the greediest of the greedy...the most corrupted of all the corrupt...Ladieeeees and gentlemen, I present...

SUHARTO:

Suharto 1921 - 2008

Former president of Indonesia Mr Suharto, stole, embezzled and flaunted away more money than all of the other despots put together.  He embezzled over $35 billion  from his poverty racked country during his 31 year reign...in perspective 35 billion is a million bucks 35 thousand times over! The entire countries wealth perpetually disappeared into his various Swiss bank accounts until he was ousted in 1988 after the popular front uprising and went into exile.

In May 1999, Suharto's family fortune was estimated at $15 billion in cash, with more billions invested in shares, corporate assets, real estate, jewellery, fine art and of course expensive automobiles.

$9 billion is thought to have been secreted in an Austrian bank and the Suharto family is said to own about 22,000 square miles of land in Indonesia, including 100,000 acres of premium office space in Jakarta...if there is a building there...he owns it!

It is also said that the Suharto family also own about 40% of East Timor. Suharto was placed highest on the worlds list of absolutely corrupt premiers.  The much used term misappropriation of funds knew no boundaries with this guy.  Misappropriation of funds  was the true Suharto way and by rights it should be his first name viz: Mr. Misappropriation of Funds Suharto .

He could not understand what all the fuss was about saying that he was the President and any money was his by right.  What this single minded, utterly selfish and greedy criminal failed to realize was that it wasn't actually his money, he was merely the guardian of it.  The money belonged to his country and the social well being of the population...something he never contemplated as he was too busy buying Rolls-Royces, gold, real east and anything else he could grab.

He never gave anything and took everything....he could probably peel an orange in his pocket, pockets that were so deep as he never managed to reach to the end of them.  If he dropped a penny it would have hit him on the back of the neck!  What was his was his and what was yours was his.

Suharto the greediest and most corrupt despot the planet has ever seen and it is hoped that is how he will be remembered throughout all of history.

A FOOL AND HIS MONEY...

It is not so much the power going to their heads but the money going to their heads as well.  These ignorant, greedy and  deluded idiots that get into positions of power are invariably all the same and when their ego kicks in, then their people don't stand a chance " its all mine, mine, mine. " takes over!

Of course expensive sports car and yacht manufacturers, owners of palaces, mansions, real estate, gold and fine art, all love these despots...as they sure know how to part with millions and millions of dollars.  They will spend on themselves for sure but will become incredibly tight when they have to spend on others and then they often plead poverty.

If it is any consolation though, regardless of their billions, they generally always get their comeuppance in the end.  Colonel Gadaffis 40 gold plated years of reign ended with him being beaten, stabbed and shot to death at the hands of his rather angry countrymen.

His billions couldn't help him then could they!  Maybe he should have spend his money on his people, bit of an alien concept to these Muppets though.
