Introduced in 1999 the Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa is acclaimed as the fastest 'off the shelf ' production bike in the World today.  The bike has a 1299cc four piston in-line engine that is rated at 175bhp (129Kw).  The name 'Hayabusa' is a Japanese term for the Peregrine Falcon which is known for is swiftness, resilience and more notably its ability to kill Blackbirds.  Maybe is no coincidence that the Hayabusa supercedes the former worlds fastest bike the Honda CBR1100XX Super Blackbird, or in other words the Hayabusa eats Honda Super Blackbirds for breakfast !

The Hayabusa is a bike with great appearance, due to its aerodynamic design and super colour scheme.  The bike is also accredited with great road handling, and stability due to it being of exceptional balance and comfort.  The wide range of speeds on the roads is delivered by a very reliable and exceedingly good performance engine.

A supercharger can be custom fitted to any Hayabusa and will deliver  a rapid 250bhp to the rear wheel, increasing torque to phenomenal levels that will see the Hayabusa topping 210mph.  A standing quarter mile is burned away in 8 seconds.  The inclusion of a race exhaust, intercooler, bigger brakes and a bigger impeller would also be recommended
