Below is a picture of Henry...no...no...not
that Henry !  although I'm sure that he did his fair share of housework or at least had a quick whip round all his jewellery with a duster...

...the Henry we are looking at in this case is a vacuum cleaner and is one of the worlds best selling if not the best selling vacs of all time with over six million Henry's already being sold to date.

The latest Henry has eco drive which means that the power is variable with two switches, the first switch lets Henry's powerful 1000 or1200 Watt (depending on model) two stage twin-flow motor run in normal moderate 600W power mode but the second switch allows Henry to run flat out under
full 1200W power, and its so powerful that when I used it, it sucked the tiles
up off the kitchen floor!!  these tiles were initially just placed down not stuck down but even so other vacs don't do this !

Yes Henry sucks...really well.  Its a nice vac to use, its friendly, simple and very well made, it can and does get used in industrial environments too where Henry can operate for 8 hours faultlessly.
Many of you viewers out there may say that the Dyson is the best vacuum cleaner ever but even though the Dyson is a great vac I somehow I feel that Henry is better.  Sure Henry has a bag that needs to be changed whereas the Dyson doesn't, yes Henry uses the power of an electric motor for its suck whereas the Dyson uses the motor to produce cyclone technology yes okay...but Henry is still very powerful and exceedingly robust and does the job just as well, and for under less than half the price of an expensive Dyson.

The Henry vac is now at icon and fashion status and is a household accessory that appears to suggest that home owners are not in the vogue unless they have one, I'm now in the vogue...although my vacs name is Hetty!!  She is either the sister or wife of Henry I'm not sure?? I bought Hetty because she was a nice purple color in the online ad but when I received her...she was pink !

So when I vac the car out on the driveway the neighbors must surely think I have turned...well...you know...a bit fun and fancy free as it were...ahum !  She has big eyelashes too and I hate to say it, but she looks cute, no e-mails please, I know, I know.
I guess that I will just have to grin and bear it, mind you, I don't know of many people with a pink vacuum cleaner so I suppose the novelty value might make up for it.

By the way, here is the image of the Hetty that I saw...and she sure looks purple to me ! although when I revisited the online shop they did actually say in small print that it was indeed pink !  The green labels on her are to illustrate to the buyer that she is an eco-friendly power saving vac.

Below is a Youtube video that pays a nice tribute to the Henry vac, this video must have been  created by a real Henry fanatic and is quite amusing to watch.

As stated earlier , Henry is as easy to use as you would expect any vac to be, with no complicated assembly and no little bits that don't fit.  The power cable once pulled out is wound back in by its little turner on his head, not spring powered like others...which is good as they nearly always end up breaking anyway!

The instructions are also great, a nice, simple and easy to read full color guide.

Overall Henry is a great vac with a range of accessories that include various nozzles and a stainless steel extension pipe along with 4 free quality vac bags...these vac bags could at a stretch be emptied out and reused as they are very well made material bags not cheap paper efforts.

Henry Xtra is one of the newest Henry vacs to come out with special filters and a special sweeper that is super and really ideal for vacuuming your house if you are a dog or cat owner.

Henry is now also turbo charged! the Henry Turbo now comes complete with the new turbo-electric power brush that assists Henry with an extra powerful and even more efficient vacuum cleaning system than ever before.

And whilst you, my cool viewers are here then you might as well meet some more members of Henry's family...

James likes to store his power cable along with dusters and cleaning things inside the top of his head, no he has not gone bonkers...James just loves being helpful.

...and ,likes to vac up dry dusty things as normal but he  also likes dealing with wet things too, like spilt drinks, water from blocked drains or puddles, yes, Charlie doesn't mind getting his feet wet...

...and finally below, we meet George, George is the hardest worker of the family and doesn't mind what he vacs up, inside or outside, be it water from blocked sinks and drains, or just dirt, dust and debris, he will even give hard floors, carpets and upholstery or even outside concrete steps a damn good scrub wet or dry.

Our main friend Henry though is also available in miniature as seen in he image below, this little desktop Henry runs off 2 x AA batteries and although he is a novelty he can be used for cleaning your keyboard, little bits of dust from around your work station or just vac up a few little crumbs left from your snacks.  He is also available from internet stores fashioned as a key fob.
