INFOLINKS:  Best Advertising For My Website

Infolinks is the latest next generation technology in web site advertising.  The ads are known as 'in-text' in that they unobtrusively highlight actual words within the web page to become a link to the advertisers website.  Notice all the blue colored and underlined words on this page, well they are the in-text ads, quite cool aren't' they !

When a viewer hovers their mouse cursor over a highlighted word a small pop-up window  will appear showing the content from the advertiser and the viewer has the option whether or not to visit the site.

The ads themselves should generally be relevant to the words that are highlighted too, and not just randomly selected.

I chose Infolinks as it was quite easy to set up and did not require me to make any additional and unsightly changes to my website.  Its an ideal solution for me, for you the viewer and also for the advertisers.

I did not like Google's 'Adsense' method of advertising as their banner ads spoiled the look of my web pages and took up valuable web page space.

Infolinks ads are great and don't take up any additional web page space at all, its a lot better and I like the way the ads just select words on my web page that I already have, nothing new needed.  Simplicity itself !

It was 100% free to register with Infolinks with no hidden costs and quite easy to imbed the ads on my website once I got started.  I just have to imbed two lines of HTML into the source code of my web page and maybe color code the ads to suit the color scheme of the page at hand and that's it...Infolinks do the rest.

I get paid every time a viewer clicks on one of the ads on my website, Infolinks is also one of the highest paying web site ad companies.  The amount I get paid depends on the price set by the advertiser, its only a few cents per click on an individual ad but it all adds up and Infolinks always pays me my earnings on time too.  On my reports page on the Infolinks web site its great to see increases in my daily revenues...however slight.  It might only be a few dollars, but its a few dollars added not taken away !

To be honest, I wasn't sure if I wanted ads on my website, as my web site is a hobby of mine but with the increasing costs of running a web site such as this with over 300 pages, it actually means I 'm glad to have Infolinks.  They are  superb, its a great idea to advertise as the revenue I receive off the ads all helps to pay for my site, which means I can put up more great and informative pages.

I don't click on any of the ads myself to bump up my revenue though, as this is fraudulent and Infolinks management could close my ads account down through it.   I have  clicked on one of my own ads accidentally, but I'm careful not to do it on purpose.

The Inland Revenue Service are happy too, as Infolinks pay my taxes off my revenues directly to them so its all above board, clean and legal.

My web site did have to meet certain criteria from the Infolinks management team before being accepted to carry their ads, but as my website does not contain anything unpleasant, with no violence, racism, hate, bad language, or graphic content, it was accepted.  Advertisers would not want their company associated with anything negative which is understandable.

My website does cover grey area topics like weapons and World War II, but as my pages are reference orientated for educational purposes then there's nothing unacceptable on my web site that you couldn't find in any high school, college or other educational facility.

If you do  have a web site like mine then I seriously recommend that you only use Infolinks.  I have tried several other advertisement companies and believe me, Infolinks are the best and the best payers too !
