Dragon Models Ltd have produced a 1:72 in scale model of the Maus tank. The model is already assembled, true to scale and complete with authentic detailing. Its is a resin model built around a die-cast chassis to give it some weight. At just under 5½ inches long it doesn't take up too much space and can sit atop your PC !

With a bit of jiggerypokery in photo-shop a model tank photo can look authentic, like it was taken in WWII as seen below.

The color scheme  is accurate along with the unusual camouflage pattern that was used on this vehicle by the Germans in WWII.

Its a nice unobtrusive  model of this rare type of German Tank and one that I bought as soon as I saw it. The only aspect of the model that is not accurate are the 'kill rings' around the end of barrel and the 'kills' marked up on the side of the turret.  The Maus never actually saw any combat, if it had I'm sure it would have been a very formidable opponent.

The tank is a static display model so the tracks and rollers are fixed and don't move.
