The worlds most expensive production car will put Bugatti's $1 million dollar Veyron to shame. The DiMora Natalia SLS 2 will retail for a mere $2 Million Dollars to its discerning well heeled customers.

Alfred DiMora the founder of DiMora Motorcar's ( DMC ) based in Palm Springs, California, USA has announced that it has begun building the worlds most expensive, luxurious and technologically advanced hand built car in the world, the Natalia SLS 2.  

The car will be powered by a DiMora Volcano 14 litre V16 aluminium engine producing 1200 horse power.  The fuel economy of an engine with this specification should be on par with an Ocean liner but DiMora Motorcars insist that it will actually give good economy.

It is noted that Alfred DiMora has previously designed other luxury cars such as the Clenet and Sceptre.

It was with the  Clenet that DiMora was enrolled into the Automotive hall of fame in 1986 for the Centennial Year of the Gas powered Automobile.  DiMora also the founder of Starbridge Systems Inc is, amongst his many other talents, accredited to creating the worlds fastest Super Computer as used now by NASA and presumably this computer has helped out with the design of the Natalia.

Alfred DiMora states  "The goal for the Natalia is to be completely distinctive from bumper to bumper, the most powerful four-door sport luxury automobile in transportation history. The Natalia will set the standard for 21st Century automotive excellence, I have drawn on my 30 years of automotive and computer expertise to design this futuristic vehicle, one that is safe, efficient, luxurious, nimble, and powerful."

The entire project promises to be on the internet, televised and  in all media presenting a spectacle of mammoth proportions. It is expected that millions of viewers from around the world will 'tune in' to watch as the car is created, especially as there will be web cams situated all around the cars work place and the engineers and craftsmen will be viewable at work on the car.

The chassis will be constructed using high tech ultra lightweight aerospace materials and technology along with an extremely aerodynamic construction.  The lucky occupants will be surrounded in luxury with its fantastically stylish interior that promises to equal the Taj Mahal.

The Natalia will be full of breath taking innovations never seen before on a production car such as 50 onboard computer systems to assist in every area including heartbeat, stress and body temperature levels.  Although I don't think there would be a lot of stress related problems driving this car !

Information will be processed by the onboard computers such as interior lighting, music, climate control and brake pedal stiffness adjustment. The Computer will interact personally with the driver too as information is collated about the driving style and if drowsiness is detected via the cars speed, driving fluctuations etc then warnings will be issued. This is probably a feature that will be turned off the most !

The headlights will double up as film projectors when the car is static and can show films on any (white) wall several feet away, presumably the inside of the owners long heated garage would suffice here. The paint is heat sensitive and will  change colour accordingly with the temperature around it.  The car will also maintain its temperature even when the engine is off and the car is parked up overnight etc.

The Natalia will also feature other innovations like a 60 sensor passenger controlled electronic spa facility to massage oh so lazy backs and lumber area. The pampering continues with drink holders that will heat up or cool down the drink as nonchalantly required. Whilst wine drinkers will have their bottle, sorry bottles opened with a built in automatic corkscrew. Disabled or the physically handicapped are also looked after, as the front passenger seat will rotate 90 degrees and lower to the ground for ease of ingress and egress.

Of course the Natalia will have incorporated all the very latest satellite navigational equipment, along with the mandatory in car entertainment and communication systems.  The ride promises to be responsive and agile too on the four wheel drive 24 inch rimmed wheels which will all steer on their high tech flat-free tyres.

Overall then with money obviously being no object to Alfred DiMora Motorcars the Natalia promises to become the best car in the world and should knock the top luxury cars Rolls-Royce Phantom and Maybach off their pedestals...with a boxers uppercut albeit scented with lavender water !
